Anti-Money Laundering Professional

The role of an Anti-Money Laundering Professional is a critical one, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Conduct thorough reviews and investigations into suspicious transactions and activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor client behavior and identify potential risks, taking prompt action to mitigate these threats.
  • Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for both new and existing clients, ensuring accurate risk assessments.
  • Review alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems and escalate high-risk cases for further analysis, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of investigations, risk assessments, and reporting, adhering to audit and compliance standards.
  • Prepare and submit Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) / Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) as required, collaborating with relevant authorities to ensure seamless communication.

  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in compliance tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging AML risks and typologies, adapting quickly to changing regulatory environments.
