Job Title: Mainframe Cobol Developer
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Cobol Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex business applications on the mainframe platform.
Required Skills:
  • Mainframe Cobol programming with extensive experience in developing and maintaining COBOL applications.
  • Expertise in JCL (Job Control Language) to manage batch jobs for data processing.
  • Proficiency in DB2 (Database) to design and develop queries for optimal performance.
  • Familiarity with VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
  • Knowledge of CICS (Customer Information Control System) to develop and maintain transactional applications.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance COBOL applications that meet business requirements.
  2. Create and maintain JCL scripts to optimize job scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
  3. Develop and maintain database-driven applications using DB2 for optimal performance.
  4. Work with VSAM files to store and retrieve data efficiently.
  5. Develop and maintain transactional applications using CICS.
