About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining configuration management using Chef, Ansible, and Ruby, as well as automating CI/CD pipelines and integrations using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.

The successful individual will create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable deployments, develop scripts and automation tools using Python to streamline operations and support self-service capabilities, containerize applications using Docker, and manage container lifecycle.

Additionally, they will support application migration to cloud environments, ensuring minimal downtime and high reliability, ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other regulatory standards in the payments domain, collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, and drive innovation in self-service automation for end users.

Required skills include strong hands-on experience with Chef and Ruby, proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture, expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, solid understanding of Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline integrations, scripting experience with Python, experience with Ansible for automation and orchestration, and proficiency in Docker for containerization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: AWS certifications, experience in financial services or regulated environments, strong problem-solving and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
