We are seeking a visionary Design Leader to spearhead our design operation from India, driving growth in team size, engagement complexity, and collaboration with global studios.

  • Drive exceptional design quality, craft, and practice, elevating overall competency and creating award-winning work.
  • Evaluate and evolve our service offering and value propositions to meet client needs, ensuring seamless alignment with our business objectives.
  • Provide strategic design thought leadership, publishing and speaking at internal and external events to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Guide new business strategy, approach, and concept creation for proposals, leveraging your expertise to secure high-profile clients.
  • Foster design-focused sessions and engaging workshops with C-suite clients, establishing long-lasting relationships and building trust.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, uncovering opportunities to apply strategic thinking and creative craft, resulting in outstanding outcomes.
  • Assess performance, provide career mentorship, and make informed decisions for senior designers, promoting their growth and development.
  • Help attract top talent to the organization, enhancing our brand reputation in India through your leadership and vision.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of industry experience; 7+ years of leadership/management experience of teams of 50+ designers.
  • A background in the agency world or running large-scale teams for startups and organizations in-house, showcasing adaptability and versatility.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with user-centered design processes, delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Mastery in Product Design, Service Design, User Research, demonstrated through a portfolio of outstanding work that showcases your expertise.
  • References from clients, team, and peers about outcomes achieved and leadership style, highlighting your ability to drive success.
  • Proven experience building aligned connections globally as a respected leader in the design community, fostering collaborations and partnerships.
