Job Title:

Data Engineering Lead

 

In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of large-scale data engineering pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading workflows across cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to support advanced analytics, reporting, and machine learning workflows.
  • Implement job orchestration, monitoring, and error handling for reliable pipeline execution.
  • Maintain and support existing data pipelines.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to data quality, validation, and loading.
  • Tune job configurations for optimal performance.
  • Analyze and address dependencies failures in workflows.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills:

AWS Glue, ADF, Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark, PySpark, Scala, SQL, Python, Linux, DevOps, Cloud Computing.
