Accounting Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Accounting department in producing accurate and timely financial statements by preparing and recording detailed AP, AR and other general accounting transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record detailed AP, AR and other general accounting transactions.
  • Review and account AP & corporate expense reports.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Help with tax filings.
  • Perform month close activities such as accruals, prepays, deferrals, etc.
  • Support with revenue recognition & refunds.
  • Review monthly Income Statement and provide explanation on the monthly fluctuations for P&L accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of excel.
  • Knowledge of advanced accounting platforms such as NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of advanced cloud-based reporting, AR and AP system.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines and responsibilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
  • Highly organized, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
