Job Description:

As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in covering roofs with roofing materials.

You will schedule work and assign duties to workers, while also demonstrating techniques of applying various types of roofing material to new workers.

In addition, you will inspect work in progress and when completed to determine conformance to specifications. This will involve assisting with quoting and invoicing, ordering and arranging delivery of materials, keeping records of stock in our yard, and ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to liaise effectively with other professionals such as construction managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, architects, designers, and other engineers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role, as well as organisation skills and a methodical approach to work.
