Job Overview

As a Process Simulation and OTS Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and validating process simulations using industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop process simulations for various applications to optimize plant performance.
  • Tune and integrate simulation models in OTS software and other applications.
  • Simulate normal operations, including startup and shutdown procedures.
  • Perform detailed heat and mass balance calculations and hydraulic analysis.
  • Execute equipment sizing for unit operations such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, and pumps.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Implementation experience in simulation software like Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, and DYNSIM.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in automation systems in Chemical, Petro-chemical, Oil And Gas, and Pharmaceutical domains.
  • Deep understanding of separation technologies including distillation, extraction, evaporation, chemical reactions, adsorption, pervaporation, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Closed loop control (computer, DCS, PID control), MVC tuning concepts, APC and MES.
