Job Description

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions, ensure data governance through Unity Catalog, and support real-time and batch processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high-quality database programming requirements for the sprint.
  • Create and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks by leveraging PySpark and SQL.
  • Develop Delta Lake tables with ACID transactions and schema evolution to support real-time and batch processing.
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
  • Apply SOLID development principles to maintain data integrity and cohesiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer, be self-driven with minimal supervision, and possess proven experience with T-SQL programming, Azure Databricks, Spark (PySpark/Scala), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ADLS Gen2.

A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, along with Microsoft TFS, Visual Studio, and DevOps exposure, are essential for this role.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or any other similar platform is also desirable.
