Job Title: Manager - Accounts

Description:

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage our indirect tax compliance, accounting operations, and financial reporting.
  • The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in GST filings, reconciliations, accounting entries, and TDS returns, with a strong command of Tally ERP and a solid understanding of Indian tax laws and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file monthly and annual GST returns: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C.
  • Perform GST reconciliation (Books vs GSTR-2B, Cash Ledger, Credit Utilization).
  • Handle GST registration, audits, and online replies to GST notices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate TDS return filing and compliance.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ledger maintenance, and petty cash transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure resolution of suspense entries.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records using Tally ERP 9.
  • Support statutory and internal audits, including documentation and data preparation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and support in tax planning initiatives.

Skill & Competencies:

  • Expertise in GST laws, filings, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Proficient in Tally ERP 9 and MS Excel.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and TDS compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
