Network Administration Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network professional to fill this critical role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical abilities, and a thorough understanding of network administration and security principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain various network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS solutions.
  • Perform routine network maintenance and system upgrades encompassing service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance metrics, troubleshooting network issues, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Schedule upgrades and collaborate with network architects on optimizing network infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce robust security policies to safeguard network systems and data.
  • Report on network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, and managing projects effectively.
  • Work closely with partners to ensure their networks are properly configured and maintained to meet required availability levels.
  • Create Visio diagrams, SOPs, and documentation for network updates to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Configure and implement Cisco wireless LAN controllers, autonomous, and lightweight access points, DHCP configurations, and upgrade procedures for WLCs.
  • Set up SSID, layer 3 authentication methods, guest access, and web authentication features.
  • Deploy Cisco wireless LAN controllers using various deployment methods.
  • Understand licensing redundancy, set up access point groups, layer 2 authentication, PSK, flex connect, and other related concepts.
  • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues related to connectivity, coverage, and authentication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCNP Voice or CCNP Wireless certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
