Project Leader

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure project management.
  • They will have expertise in service provider / networking organization projects, including data migration.
  • Familiarity with networking technologies such as routing, switching, security, and firewalls is required.
  • Effective stakeholder management is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
  • A strong understanding of the 10 knowledge areas of project management: integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communication, and risk is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage IT infra projects.
  2. End-to-end project management of complex projects spanning over a year.
  3. Independently managed tracks, workstreams, or projects as part of large programs/portfolios.
  4. Create project schedules and plans with financial, resource, and material requirements.
  5. Hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.
  6. Ability to work weekends for maintenance/migration activities or handling escalations.
  7. Agile project management experience is preferred.
  8. Telecom/service provider infrastructure experience is an asset.
  9. Technical knowledge of network hardware and software is required.
  10. Experience in contract change management and partner delivery/commercials is an advantage.
  11. Hands-on experience in Microsoft Project and Jira/Rally is necessary.

  • 8+ years of project management experience in comparable industries.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
