As a Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the revenue department in line with corporate strategies and brand standards. Your primary goal is to meet employee, guest, and owner expectations while ensuring the hotel's revenue streams are properly accounted for.
The Revenue Manager provides leadership and expertise in revenue accounting and business best practices to the hotel. This role has responsibility for all technical aspects of hotel revenue, including royalty accounting and invoicing. You will regularly interface with sales, operations, and marketing organizations to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hotel's revenue streams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance on revenue accounting and business best practices to the hotel team.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications
To be successful as a Revenue Manager, you should possess:
- A university degree in Strategic Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism Management.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Revenue Manager in a renowned hotel.
- Strategic orientation, problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
