Senior Linux Administrator

As a seasoned Linux administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-performance and reliability of our Linux systems.

  • LVM Concept - Create, Extend, and Troubleshoot File Systems
    • Validate LVM configurations, add LUNs, and troubleshoot file system issues
  • Multipath Concept - Enable Multipath Configurations and Add LUNs
    • Ensure optimal multipath configurations and enable LUNs
  • OS Performance Optimization - Optimize System Performance
    • Evaluate and optimize OS performance to ensure seamless operations
  • Security and Patching - Patching and Security Evaluation
    • Evaluate and correct OS vulnerabilities through regular patching
  • Vendor Coordination - Coordinate Vendor Support
    • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and OS level issues
  • Log Rotation and File System Management - Manage Log Files and File Systems
    • Rotate logs and manage file system usage, permissions, and ownership
  • Implementing Changes - Implement Changes as Required
    • Implement changes based on application team and DB team requirements
  • Service Management - Manage Critical Services
    • Manage critical services such as NTP, SSH, and AUTOFS
  • Troubleshooting - Identify and Resolve Server Issues
    • Fix server access and bootable issues, including fixing GRUB
  • OS Level Troubleshooting - Troubleshoot OS-Level Issues
    • Troubleshoot OS-level issues in bringing up servers
  • OS Migration - Perform OS Migrations
    • Perform OS migrations as required
Requirements:
  • Strong Linux Administration Skills
  • Experience with LVM and multipath concepts
  • Ability to optimize OS performance
  • Experience with patching and security
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
