About the Position

This role is responsible for creating strategic financial solutions, overseeing complex financial projects, and analyzing business processes to ensure robust financial governance and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement effective financial strategies to drive business performance.
  • Plan, manage, and execute complex financial initiatives across units, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Analyze business processes to identify key issues and opportunities for improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop monthly MIS reports with detailed variance analysis and ageing reports, highlighting key areas for attention.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, local tax regulations, and statutory requirements, maintaining high levels of integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify cost control areas and implement effective strategies to reduce costs and avoid revenue leakages, contributing to profit optimization and cost control.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors for quarterly audits and financial reviews, ensuring smooth coordination and communication.
  • Contribute to value improvement initiatives, participating in capex project reviews and operational cost planning, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

A Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration, with a minimum of 20 years' experience in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance, is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in financial analysis, auditing procedures, financial planning, reporting, and audit tools.
