Job Opportunity: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for local sourcing, purchasing, and managing vendors for materials, components, and services required in the Electric Vehicle (2-wheeler) industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for EV components and raw materials.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  • Evaluate vendor performance (quality, delivery timelines, compliance).
  • Conduct regular audits of vendor facilities as per company standards.
  • Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Capture and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in automobile or electric vehicle industry.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of EV components (battery, motor, controller, charger, etc.) is preferred.
  • Advance proficiency in MS-Excel.
