Corporate Credit Analyst plays a key role in managing credit analysis function for corporate clients globally.

About the Position

Position Title: Corporate Credit Analyst

Corporate Title: Manager

Location: Mumbai

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA corporate clients and conduct thorough due diligence on borrowers and industries.
  • Oversee end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the company's credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product teams and Credit Officers / Approvers).
  • Perform covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Prepare periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
  • Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.
Candidate Requirements
  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their Global Capability Centre), asset manager or rating agency environment.
  • Strong emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance or their equivalents).
Key Skills
  • Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates.
  • Good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
  • Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents preferred.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg / CapIQ and similar systems.
