The role aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Indian vertical transportation market, promoting local presence, driving sales, and fostering relationships with customers and regulators.

  • Familiarize with the VT landscape in India including customers, competitors, authorities, and regulations
  • Provide market input for updating and refining the VT strategy for India
  • Develop a business development strategy to drive growth targets
  • Promote yourself as a leading VT authority in India
  • Identify and create sales leads through networking and research
  • Effectively manage customer relationships
  • Expand the business by continuously expanding the customer base and retaining existing customers

Operations and Resources:

  • E nsure smooth operations aligned with QMS standards
  • Be responsible for the financial performance of TUV SUD's VT activities in India
  • Prepare regular progress reports
  • Plan and manage resources
  • Recruit, develop, and lead further VT experts

Requirements:

  • Integrative personality with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Drive business development and sales activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of lift technology and industry
  • Familiarity with VT inspections and certifications
  • Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical)
  • Master degree beneficial, especially in business-oriented fields like MBA
