Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support business operations.

About the Role:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and secure cloud environments.
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud-based systems.
  • Migrate and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to improve performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server virtual machines within AWS.
  2. Provision, manage, and optimize performance for SQL Server and PostgreSQL database instances.
  3. Plan and execute migrations of customer environments and databases across AWS instances and services.
  4. Support and maintain hybrid cloud environments, as well as web applications and serverless components.
  5. Ensure high availability for Windows-based applications delivered through Thinfinity VirtualUI.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on AWS.
  • Proven experience deploying and managing Windows Server environments in production.
  • Strong experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL database provisioning, performance tuning, and migration.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud application delivery, including virtualized desktop or app streaming technologies (e.g., Thinfinity, Citrix) for legacy applications.
  • Experience hosting .NET applications across IaaS, PaaS, and serverless AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda).
Bonus Requirements:
  • Proficiency with AWS services: EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, Systems Manager, Lambda, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and remote access configurations.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Skilled in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
