Job Title:

Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide high-quality service support for computer systems and large format printing solutions.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Epson Large Format Printers at customer locations.
  • Key responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems (hardware and software).
  • The role also involves diagnosing printer faults, performing preventive maintenance, and resolving technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
  • Apart from this, the specialist will troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers.
  • The specialist will perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance.
  • Maintaining detailed service reports after each service visit is another crucial task.
  • The specialist will coordinate with technical support teams and Epson service engineers for complex troubleshooting.
  • In addition, the role requires managing spare parts inventory and requesting replacements when needed.
  • The specialist will provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems.
  • Ensuring timely service response and achieving defined service KPIs is another key responsibility.
  • Finally, the specialist will support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Any degree in Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
  • Knowledge of large format printers (Epson preferred) or computer systems troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Good communication and customer service orientation.
