Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation & Administration
    • Take ownership of the end-to-end implementation of Stripe modules, including Payments, Billing, Connect, and Subscriptions.
    • Configure workflows for invoicing, recurring billing, chargebacks, and refunds.
    • Manage Stripe accounts, user roles, permissions, and integrations with other systems.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Engineering & Test Data
    • Design and maintain API integrations between Stripe and internal platforms, such as CRM, ERP, and analytics.
    • Build and manage test data environments to simulate payment flows and edge cases.
    • Automate transaction scenarios for validation and regression testing.
    • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerts to ensure reliability and transparency of payment flows.
  • Business Process & Operations
    • Translate business process flows into Stripe configurations, streamlining processes and improving accuracy.
    • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to optimize payment processes and resolve issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve payment disputes, operational bottlenecks, and technical challenges.
    • Provide internal training, documentation, and ongoing support for Stripe usage.
    Requirements
    • Proven experience as a Stripe Developer/Engineer, including leading at least one successful Stripe implementation.
    • Strong knowledge of Stripe APIs, webhooks, and modules, with expertise in configuration and integration.
    • Experience with test data creation, automation, and CI/CD testing frameworks, ensuring seamless testing and deployment.
    • Solid understanding of payment process flows, reconciliation, and dispute management, with a focus on security and compliance.
    • Ability to troubleshoot technical and business process issues end-to-end, providing clear solutions and recommendations.
