Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and performance of our cloud-based platform.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business. This includes architecting and deploying scalable and secure cloud-based systems, as well as ensuring seamless integration with other teams and systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive business value.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud platform production support or infrastructure management
  • Proven ability to manage escalations, troubleshoot issues, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private clouds), monitoring tools, and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
  • Strong understanding of DR processes, patching, upgrades, and environment stability
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a multicultural, distributed team
  • Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS services, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
