Mechanical Reliability Specialist

As a Mechanical Reliability Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of complex machinery in large industrial settings. This involves performing advanced diagnostics and condition monitoring to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-line and off-line monitoring of turbo machines and compressors to detect any anomalies or potential issues.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis (RCA), MTBF, FME(C)A, criticality analysis, and reliability centered maintenance (RCM) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and manage rotating PM programs to evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements and new technologies.
  • Review and update critical spare part lists and perform cataloging activities to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Provide technical support for repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including dismantling, diagnosing, assembling, testing, and issuing related technical reports.
  • Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment, as well as perform technical investigation for repair jobs to identify root cause of failure and corrective repair actions.
  • Collaborate with customer specialists and planners to prioritize repairs to identified equipment deficiencies.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in condition monitoring of turbo machines and rotating equipment, with expertise in online and periodic offline monitoring.
  • ISO 18436 CAT-3 certification and experience with System 1 Evo, Operation and Maintenance support.
  • Technical authority and support in SAFE chart analysis, cause and effect analysis, risk analysis, and review of PFD and P&IDs.
  • Proficient in rotor dynamic and stability analysis, rotor integrity tests, installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, and approval.
  • Experience in root cause analysis, MTBF, FME(C)A, criticality analysis, RCM, and review of existing maintenance practices.
