Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Associate in our US Tax team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals with expertise in tax return preparation, particularly in the areas of 1065/1120 tax returns.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to review and ensure the quality of work prepared by junior associates and advanced associates on moderate to complex tax returns. You will foster a collaborative relationship with team members and managers, providing guidance and support when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and enhance tax knowledge through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
  • Ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to your team.
  • Train and mentor junior associates and advanced associates.
  • Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles.
  • Enhance teamwork and communicate effectively with teams in India and the US.
  • Provide assistance to managers on projects as requested.
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching/mentoring abilities.
  • Experience working on US business tax returns (1065/1120) with complex situations and special allocations.
  • Good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts, including forms like 8865, 5471, 5472, and 1116.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Corporate taxation (1065/1120).
