Job Summary

The E-plan Tool Administrator will be responsible for the administration of ePlan toolset for electrical function, ensuring smooth and efficient design workflows.

  • Manage and maintain the ePlan tool environment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Setup and configure eplan connector to Windchill.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Supporting and maintaining other electrical design tools, including Altium Designer.
  • Managing updates and user access for these tools.
  • Coordinating with IT and engineering teams to resolve tool-related issues.
  • Maintaining tool configurations and libraries.
  • Ensuring compatibility with other engineering systems.
  • Providing ongoing support for electrical design and data management.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure tool alignment with project needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience administering electrical design tools, especially ePlan.
  • A strong understanding of PLM systems, preferably Windchill.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills.
