You will collaborate with senior leaders across Retail, Marketplace, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Product teams to create a significant impact through the use of advanced analytical tools and techniques. About the Role

The Lead Business Analyst is an individual contributor role that enables senior leadership decision-making by streamlining KPI measurement and identifying key drivers through causal modeling. You will execute complex quantitative analyses to translate data into actionable insights, driving business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deep dive into key driver assessments for KPIs, drawing relevant business hypotheses and quantifying their impact.
  2. Define and improve key metrics, communicating business trends to leadership.
  3. Work closely with business and product teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
  4. Lead and mentor junior analysts.
  5. Integrate solutions into product systems and onboard ML platforms.
  6. Influence investment opportunities based on internal and external data.
Requirements
  1. Education/Work Experience:
  2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field from a reputable institution or an MBA from a reputable institution.
  3. 5+ years of experience in a relevant role and 2+ years in a Lead Analyst role.
  4. Required Abilities/Competencies:
  5. Ability to think on scale and apply the right analytical/statistical solutions.
  6. Ability to identify new opportunities for business based on internal/external data.
  7. Ability to identify and enable adoption of innovative solutions to business problems.
  8. Ability to trade-off between different approaches/metrics to arrive at optimal solutions.
  9. Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  10. Ability to course correct and deliver in a changing business environment.
  11. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Ability to perform gracefully in a multitasking project environment with attention to detail.
  13. Ability to guide juniors in the team on planning, prioritization, and execution.
  14. Technical Capabilities:
  15. Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.).
  16. Strong background in statistical modeling and experience with statistical tools such as R, Python, Spark, SAS, or SPSS. High expertise in building machine learning models.
  17. Good to have: working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc.).
