We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automated Test Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable automated test frameworks and test suites for automotive embedded systems.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Python scripting. They will drive the implementation of automated test cases using Python and utilize CAPL for testing automotive communication protocols and ECU functionalities.
- Test Automation Strategy:
- Define test automation strategies and best practices.
- Scripting & Development:
- Develop and maintain automated test cases using Python.
- Utilize CAPL for testing automotive communication protocols and ECU functionalities.
- Testing & Validation:
- Design and execute tests for Electronic Control Units.
- Analyze test results and identify defects.
- Environment Setup & Maintenance:
- Set up and maintain test benches and hardware-in-the-loop systems.
- Configure test tools for efficient test execution.
- & Documentation:
- Document test plans, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Assurance & Continuous Improvement:
- Drive a culture of quality by advocating for test-driven development principles.
- Participate in root cause analysis of defects.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of automotive communication protocols, diagnostic protocols, and experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing methodologies.
Mandatory qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
