Job Opportunity

This is a self-employed contract opportunity that can be fulfilled remotely. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in market research and in-depth interviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to analyze market data and qualitative information.
  • Recruit and secure interviews with key contacts and uncover relevant data and insights.
  • Build and maintain a digital library of secondary research by accessing local/professional trade press, company annual reports, national statistics, broker reports, etc.
  • Perform retail audits of major retailers and stores around Hyderabad.
  • Research and recruit contacts for interviews, networking to create long-term links with the industry.

Requirements:

  • High level of numeracy with the ability to work with, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Strong interest in market research and tenacity in pursuing information.
  • Familiarity with consumer trends in Hyderabad and local direct knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to find strong industry contacts.
  • Fluency in English (reporting) and the local language (research).
  • Previous experience working on a short-term contract basis or in a freelance capacity.
  • Excellent time-management, organization, and self-motivation skills.
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
