About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of audit engagements, from planning to completion. You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff members, building relationships with clients, and collaborating with managers and partners to resolve client issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engagement teams in the planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations.
  • Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, promoting open communication with engagement managers and partners.
  • Collaborate with managers and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations on legal, regulatory, and accounting matters.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently, meeting client deadlines while prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Create and track engagement budgets, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and provide guidance accordingly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of post-qualification experience with a US accounting firm.
  • Working towards Chartered Accountancy is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic.
  • The ability to analyze and prioritize information to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills, as well as innovative problem-solving abilities.
