Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Mechanical Department Director at Vandana Global Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for the mechanical department, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment. You will lead a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the mechanical department.
  2. Oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
  3. Lead a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
  4. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and equipment upgrades.
  5. Manage spare parts inventory.
  6. Implement and maintain a robust safety program.
  7. Liaise with production, engineering, and other departments.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. You should possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Additionally, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
