About the RoleBusiness Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our sales efforts in the educational institutions segment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth and will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of executives to drive business from educational institutions in their assigned territory.
  • Creating and implementing college outreach strategies to promote our company programs and increase awareness among students.
  • Researching prospective institutions, identifying decision-makers, and giving presentations to close deals.
  • Tracking daily KPIs, providing insights, and ensuring overall team performance.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive business relationships with educational institutions, channel partners, and stakeholders.
  • Hiring and training a team for their assigned territory and continuously monitoring performance.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to identify and onboard channel partners, providing training and support to drive business growth.
  • Analyzing the territory's potential, conducting competitor analysis, and identifying trends and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Managing the budget for outreach activities, ensuring cost-effective strategies, and accurate expense reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and ethical standards and safeguarding the company's brand image.
  • Maintaining a detailed database of customer interactions and lead journeys within the CRM system.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager who can lead our sales efforts in the educational institutions segment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in leading a team of executives, preferably in the EdTech domain.
  • A systematic approach to building lead funnels, tracking feedback, prioritizing tasks, and achieving KPIs consistently.
  • A business mindset to effectively communicate NxtWave's offerings to prospective institutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and trustworthy individuals who can build strong relationships with institutions, stakeholders, and students.
