Key Responsibilities- Perform data entry and provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including maintenance of supplier contacts, parts and supplier databases, pricing and order database updates, and setup of new suppliers on the approved vendor list.
- Issue purchase orders through the ERP system and release engineering specifications for all required materials.
- Prepare requests for quotation, analyze supplier responses, negotiate pricing, and confirm purchases within budgetary limitations.
- Request and follow up on quotations from suppliers.
- Maintain an established approved vendor list.
- Order placement and follow-up to completion.
- Shipment tracking/tracing and expediting.
- Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
- Serve as part of the Purchase team and maintain and manage business relationships with key suppliers to maintain the quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to contractual terms.
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and procurement software.
- Language proficiency in English and Hindi.
