Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for performing design tasks such as modeling, drafting, and structural analysis using Solidworks CAD and Simulation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing design tasks like modeling/drafting using Solidworks CAD, design calculation, basic structural FEA using Solidworks Simulation, tolerance stack-up analysis, apply GD&T, Release ECRN, Verify/Correct Production BOMs etc
  • Benchmarking/RE/VA/VE activities of products under supervision by understanding various manufacturing processes and tolerances/surface finishes that could be achieved using those processes
  • Conducting design review of new parts/products with cross-functional team or suppliers and optimize the design based on their feedback
  • Preparing and submitting GAD & 3D model
  • RFT /Productivity improvement, cost reduction projects through PMS
  • Field issues to be resolved based on their product knowledge through 8D
  • Performing task assign in Various FMS/PMS

You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality designs that meet customer requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical with 2 – 6 yrs of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Solidworks CAD and Simulation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
