Financial Executive Position

This is a dynamic and challenging role for an experienced financial professional to lead our team's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of monthly MIS reports, revenue statements, and reconciling income and expenditure reports.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Performing reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, and inter-company transactions.
  • Reviewing and verifying supplier invoices in line with contractual agreements, and recording entries in the accounting system.
  • Preparing financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS.
  • Processing invoices and accurately recording receipts.
  • Generating MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India using financial data.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions.
  • Conducting general ledger reviews and analysis.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Chartered Accountancy with 3-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Commerce or MBA (Finance) with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Proficient in computer applications and financial systems.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Exposure to the aviation industry is a plus.

KEY COMPETENCIES & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Strong command of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Effective communicator across all organizational levels.
  • Collaborative and able to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working with various financial software and systems.
  • Ability to interpret airline operational manuals and apply financial insights.
