Operational Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Operational Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement and be able to analyze complex operational challenges.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients across various industries, executing performance improvements and driving change within their operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of process capacity and utilization modeling, bottleneck analysis, waste reduction, warehouse restructuring, KPI creation, root cause analysis, and workforce analysis.
  • Serve as project leader for project workstreams, transformations, and turnarounds, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • Apply structured methodologies to problem-solve technical manufacturing issues.
  • Prioritize and drive improvements based on data-driven insights and facts.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead due diligence, benchmarking, best practice, and assessment studies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in high-performance manufacturing environments.
  • 3+ years leadership and management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in STEM, Operations, or Business.
  • Strong functional knowledge in one or more areas such as discrete manufacturing, project management, process automation, or continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Kaizen methods, JIT, Kanban, SMED, 5S, Poka Yoke, Visual Workplace, and VSM.
  • Experience in management consulting, large-scale change management, or turnaround and restructurings.
  • Direct operating experience with P&L accountability.
