Job Title: CIM Automation Specialist

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled CIM automation specialist to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop systems for Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) equipment automation, incorporating vendor products such as transport systems, recipe management systems, remote control systems, live equipment monitoring systems, and fault detection classification.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop systems for CIM equipment automation, incorporating vendor products.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with fab organization, operation users, and partners to implement robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testing.
  • Equipment Communication: Hook up semiconductor equipment with customized protocol (SECS GEM) through communication host.
  • Process Improvement: Build expertise in equipment communication, performance tracking, process job management, and carrier management.
  • Data Analysis: Parse equipment data for pertinent information to support backend engineering systems.
Operational Support Responsibilities
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide consistent support to operations by monitoring and maintaining hardware and software systems.
  • Database Management: Manage DB transactions and Oracle packages for data management and performance tuning.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Monitor equipment tool performance to ensure availability of data transfer and compliance to operational requirements.
  • Automation Updates: Conduct regular maintenance and updates of automation programs to ensure reliability.
  • Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting of CIM issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java, SQL with 2-10 years of development work experience.
  • Domain Knowledge: Interest in working in clean room environments, Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) projects, and conducting quality checks.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn SEMI standards and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Urgency: Strong sense of urgency in CIM operation support and execution.
  • Problem-Solving: Practical problem-solving abilities during production-critical situations.
  • Troubleshooting: Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging CIM systems.
  • Teamwork: Excellent teamwork skills to work closely with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams.
  • Continuous Learning: Enthusiasm to learn new technologies, tools, and systems related to the semiconductor domain and CIM implementation.
