About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our finance team. This role requires strong accounting and financial management skills, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial systems and processes, with experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Create transfer pricing workings for sister entities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage bank payments, AP invoice booking, and payroll for the Indian entity, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for AP and tax-related activities, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in statutory audits, due diligences, and internal audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Closing monthly books (BRS, invoice booking, accruals, capitalization), ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and reconcile with books of accounts, ensuring that assets are properly accounted for and valued.
  • Review vendor ledgers and aging on a monthly basis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare cash flow projections, analyzing historical data and trends to inform future financial decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements, maintaining high standards of quality and control throughout the financial reporting process.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • CA mandatory, with 3-5 years post qualification experience in a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle coordination with multiple internal/external teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of IndAS/IFRS, with experience in start-ups that have achieved scale, working in technology-enabled spaces an added plus.
  • Excellent working skills of MS – Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with knowledge of ERP environment (specifically SAP, COUPA, DarwinBox) an added advantage.
