Expert Commercial Banking Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an expert commercial banking consultant.

This individual will act as a domain specialist, providing strategic insights and process consulting across commercial banking operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to drive transformation, support solution design, and ensure delivery excellence in commercial banking engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the banking delivery function, including maturies, platforms, geographical requirements, client support systems, and accelerators in the ecosystem.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for business process services function.
  • Own RFP/RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation, workflow orchestration) in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
  • Stay current with regulatory trends, market shifts, and technology innovations in the banking sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to one or more areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, client onboarding from operations standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within a business process services function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Good understanding of digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is a plus.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor with Master's degree in management, or related field.
