Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. This mid-level role is responsible for infrastructure hardening, identity/access management, and security operations using enterprise tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Harden Linux/Windows environments to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  • Configure Active Directory and IAM policies to enforce least privilege access and restrict user privileges.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs to detect potential security threats and respond quickly to incidents.
  • Implement tools like HashiCorp Vault and OWASP scanners to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Mentor junior security engineers to share knowledge and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SIEM, IAM, and logging tools to monitor and analyze security events.
  • Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar tools to manage secrets and secure data.
  • Understanding of AD and domain policies to enforce security controls and comply with regulations.
  • At least one security certification (e.g., Security+, CEH, AZ-500) to demonstrate expertise in security principles and practices.
