Colour Mixing Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Colour Mixing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the creative team, you will be responsible for mixing primary colours to create unique shades for our paint by number kits.
Key Responsibilities:- Mix acrylic paints using red, blue, and yellow to produce a wide variety of shades.
- Ensure colour consistency and document mixing formulas accurately.
- Support the production team in preparing paint samples and custom palettes as per design templates.
Exhibition and Sales:
- Represent our brand at art exhibitions, fairs, and weekend pop-up stalls.
- Set up, manage, and engage visitors at exhibition booths, demonstrating our paint by number kits and the art of colour mixing.
- Provide painting tips and guide potential customers during events.
Studio Assistance:
- Support the studio team with kit assembly, material organisation, and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace and exhibition stall.
Requirements:
- Experience with acrylic paint, formally trained artists or hobbyists welcome.
- Good understanding of colour theory and basic acrylic mixing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends and travel locally for exhibitions and stalls.
- Organised, reliable, and able to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in art exhibitions, workshops, or retail art sales.
- Passion for art education or crafting.
