Job Opportunity:

A seasoned Azure Administrator is needed to play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of SAP Business One environments hosted on Azure, including VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security.
  • Regularly monitor systems, apply patches, tune performance, and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime.
  • Efficiently manage Azure resources, optimizing costs and scalability to meet business needs.
  • Implement and maintain robust backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies to minimize data loss.
  • Work closely with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices to protect sensitive data.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator (certification preferred) is essential.
  • Practical experience with SAP Business One administration, including SQL Server/HANA knowledge, is beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services, including VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, and backup, is required.
  • Expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory administration is necessary.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments are essential.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity with flexible availability is required.

Nice to Have Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure is a plus.
  • 10+ years of IT experience is highly recommended.
