Job Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial management functions within an organization. This involves overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial reports, as well as ensuring that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the closing process for month-end and year-end General Ledger (GL) activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Consolidate financial data from various business units/entities while adhering to accounting standards.
  • Perform inter company reconciliations and eliminate any intercompany transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure chart of accounts consistency across entities and provide support for statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Information System (MIS) reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide insightful commentary.
  • Provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and strategic planning purposes.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in consolidation and MIS practices using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and reporting tools.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. They should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
