Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager
Key Responsibilities:- Database Administration: Set up, configure and manage MySQL databases. Establish replication, oversee user management and troubleshoot issues like metadata locks and slow queries.
- Server Management: Manage user accounts, monitor processes, update cron jobs and check system resources. Perform routine patching and security hardening for MySQL and Linux environments.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement backup and recovery processes using tools like mysqldump or Percona XtraBackup. Ensure data integrity and availability.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Escalate complex problems to senior engineers with proper root cause analysis inputs.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge base documentation. Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.
About the Role:
This is a critical role that requires expertise in database administration, server management and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
