Job Overview

The Operations Associate role plays a vital part in the life insurance sector, managing post-issue service requests and routine maintenance tasks.

Duties encompass:

  • Updating policy records in administration systems according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating policy data, transaction reversals, and reinstatements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure service quality.
  • Ensuring service levels and turnaround times are met according to SLA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process address changes, beneficiary updates, ownership and payor changes, and banking information updates.
  2. Handle corrections to policy data, transaction reversals, and reinstatements.
  3. Research and resolve escalated issues or incomplete transactions related to policy servicing.
  4. Support audits and regulatory compliance activities by providing accurate documentation and timely responses.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation in any stream, Commerce Graduate preferred.
  • 1+ year of working experience in the Life Insurance domain, focusing on quality, attention to details, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Experience in a professional/office environment with regular scheduled shifts.
  • Effective English business communication skills for exchanging information with clients.
  • Ability to solve basic mathematical problems.
  • Basic Email/Letter writing skills.
  • Good understanding of MS Excel and MS-Outlook.
  • LIFE INSURANCE DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE IS MUST (preferably Annuities).
