Job Title

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Migration Specialist to join our team.

 

As a key member of our cloud migration team, you will play a crucial role in designing and executing the migration of workloads to cloud platforms, specifically OpenShift. Your expertise in assessing existing infrastructure, planning containerization strategies, and defining migration roadmaps will be invaluable in ensuring a seamless transition for our clients.

 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in assessing existing infrastructure, planning containerization strategies, and defining migration roadmaps to cloud platforms preferably in OpenShift.
  • Hands-on work experience in RedHat OpenShift cloud migration with a minimum of 3 years.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures to ensure a smooth migration process.
  • Hands-on experience in application containerization using Docker and use of Kubernetes with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Experience in accessing GitHub repositories and building local builds of applications prior to migration.
  • Ability to make configuration changes for application migration to cloud using Java, .Net, or Python.
  • Experience in integrating CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitOps) for automated deployments.
  • Developing and enforcing security & governance policies for OpenShift workloads.
  • Hands-on experience in automating OpenShift provisioning and scaling using Helm.
  • Configuring Networking, Ingress, Service Mesh, and OpenShift Routes.
  • Conducting performance testing & tuning post-migration.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented environment.

 

Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

•  Proven track record of successful cloud migrations.

•  Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.

•  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•  Experience with Agile methodologies.

•  Knowledge of cloud security and compliance regulations.
