Accounting and Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Tax Professional to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and providing advisory services to clients. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
  • Preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines.
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing legal deductions.
  • Assisting clients with regulatory compliance requirements related to IRS, state agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Supporting clients in financial audits, tax audits, and related assessments.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, Lacerte).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
