The Role of a Data Science Director

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to spearhead our data science endeavors. As the Director of Data Science, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of innovative data-driven solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for building software applications in the data and analytics field, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and knowledge-sharing among team members.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of models, guaranteeing timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Engage in consultative selling with clients to grow and deliver business, leveraging your expertise in data science and analytics.
  • Design and implement scalable processes to deliver on large and complex client engagements, leveraging cloud solutions and MLOps pipelines.
  • Demonstrate expertise in programming languages such as Python, Go, Ruby, or Bash, as well as a good understanding of Linux and frameworks like scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  • Possess a deep understanding of advanced AI/ML algorithms and their applications, including experience with self-service analytics platforms like Dataiku, KNIME, or Alteryx.

Requirements:
