Tendering Executive

Role Overview
The Tendering Executive will work closely with the Sales community across Inspection Services to deliver high-quality tenders across a wide range of sales opportunities. The successful candidate will support Tendering Team Engineers and Sales representatives on lead generation and administrative processing related to customers and sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team with the initial review of bid requests, agreeing an action plan for tender delivery with the Sales community, and liaising with legal teams for reviews.
- Prepare bid templates, initiate bid/no bid meetings, and ensure bid/no bid forms are completed ahead of the meetings.
- Upload outputs from the bid/no bid meetings into Sales Force or other relevant CRM systems, prepare experience lists, testimonials, case studies, and maintain the assigned repository of those materials in SharePoint.
- Support client registrations/empanelment requirements, maintain local registrations databases, and update tendering libraries on SharePoint.
- Review standard templates, enhance them from a visual/marketing perspective, and prepare and support reporting requirements for the Tendering Team and Sales Teams.
- Provide standard HSES/Quality data as required for bids and tenders, ensure final formatting meets LRQA internal procedures and client requirements, and maintain strong communication with Sales colleagues and account managers.
- Contribute to protecting and enhancing the reputation of LRQA, improve the business by putting forward new ideas, and support the implementation of change to meet future needs.
- Manage client enquiries and queries regarding commercial and technical issues to ensure timely response by appropriate colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, with years of relevant experience in a tendering/bid management role, preferably within a Professional Services or Consultancy organization.
- Optional experience in Industrial sectors Oil&Gas, Downstream (Chemical, Petrochemical), Renewables (Wind offshore, Solar...), good commercial awareness, and experience in using sales CRM tools like Sales Force.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, attention to details, excellent IT skills, and strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work in a highly technical environment, coordinate workload, prioritize work, and meet specified deadlines.
- Strong team player, able to work across different cultures, geographies, and time zones, and network and manage stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
