Financial Reporting Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated finance professional to lead our financial reporting efforts.

  • Oversee financial reporting processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage a team of finance professionals and coordinate with auditors and regulators.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze monthly and quarterly MIS reports for assigned entities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare accurate budget and forecast numbers as per projection.
  • Adhere to approved budgets and ensure transparency in financial reporting.
Audit and Financial Controls
  • Coordinate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Develop and implement effective financial controls and systems.
  • Review accounts payable and receivable reports for accuracy.
  • Deal with auditors on quarterly and annual audit matters.
Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure adherence to accounting practices and legal regulations.
  • Drive the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.
  • Ensure integrity and transparency in financial reporting and governance.
Accounting and Taxation
  • Prepare tax computations and deferred tax computations.
  • Review bank reconciliations and timely accounting.
  • Value investments and perform mark-to-market (MTM) accounting.
Reporting and Analytics
  • Prepare periodic management information system (MIS) reports for key metrics.
  • Develop and present financial reports to stakeholders.

Skill Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (mandatory), 6-10 years of experience in finance, strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, excellent leadership and management skills.
