Jewellery Designer

The primary objective of this role is to support the Creative Director in the development process of Love Letter's jewellery collection. This position involves working closely with the design team to create new designs, develop technical packs, and communicate with the production team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new designs based on seasonal briefs provided by the Creative Director.
- Prepare technical packs with diagrams and labelling for sampling and production, including technical flat sketches, illustrations, and information packs.
- Communicate new designs with technical details to the production team and participate in the sampling process.
- Engage in cross-functional meetings related to design and follow up on outstanding issues concerning product development.
- Monitor fittings and update technical packs and illustrations based on revisions.
- Create digital 2D CADs for design presentations.
- Develop and maintain a material library.
- Apply creative problem-solving skills to jewellery construction challenges.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage a dynamic workload.
- Ability to meet deadlines with a good sense of prioritisation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Capacity to design with business objectives and cost effectiveness in mind.
- Understanding of Love Letter's customer and industry trends.
- Proficiency in sketching by hand or using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Knowledge of jewellery CAD software is a plus (Matrix/Rhino/3Design).
